Aaaaaaaaaannnnnnd I’m back!
I’ve got a newly repaired computer, functional internet, and my work schedule has a temporary lull. That is just in time to post photos from a recent event at the Cleveland Museum of art. There was live music, drinks, pumpkin carving, and plenty of art I could talk about with my friends so I could prove that three semesters of art history class weren’t a waste. The best part is that it’s a monthly event, and November’s centers around a fashion show! I can’t wait to go back again.
Karen and I went out for a walk before I took my friend out for a driving lesson. Don’t forget to check the captions.
Not much too special today. The theme was Flowers, but the weather was too awful to get any outside, so I headed to the college’s greenhouse.
I had to start with a theme of Orange for the 30 Day Challenge, so I went with the obvious. Well, kind of a messed up version of the obvious.
Day 2 requires me to shoot “something that makes me smile.” I tossed around a few ideas, but ultimately settled on the seasonal wonders that are the Cadbury Cream eggs. These little guys are really the only reason that I tolerate Easter as a holiday at all, and I devour them in obscene quantities this time of year.
The photo seems off somehow. I think the lighting is catching on the foil is so strong that it makes the egg stand out too much, and feels apart from the background. While I’ve tried the Bokeh before, I’m not sure if works here as much as it has in my previous pieces here, and here.
