Another week’s worth of phone photos. I’m particularly impressed that I could grab that droplet photo with my android.

Lightroom is Mobile
I probably couldn’t have asked for a better birthday miracle than Lightroom coming to mobile platforms. I spent about an hour just playing with different cell photos from my Galaxy to see how the port holds up to its big brother. Most of the functionality is intact. Trying to cram a full Adobe program’s functionality into such a small screen means that the interface isn’t as streamlined as something like Snapseed, but I’m willing to sacrifice accessibility for depth. I’ll keep playing with the program, but I’m confident I’ll be getting plenty of use out of it.
Friday Phone Dump
For the new year, I’m starting to play with the structure of the site. One such change will be having specific releases for certain days. Friday will be the day that I use to post galleries of photos I’ve shot on the go that wouldn’t justify a post by themselves. I figure that it is an easy post to do while I prep for larger weekend shoots which go up Saturday-Monday.

Visiting Breakneck Acres
If you’re in the Kent area, you owe it to yourself to check out Breakneck Acres. It’s a small, local farm out on Summit Street, and they have some of the most fantastic food. I’ve done a video on them before, but the farm has greatly expanded since then. There are more chickens, different meats, and even some baked goods now. You really can’t beat them for buying local food.
Bees are Hard to Photograph With a Phone Camera
Bees are a pain to shoot with my android because they’re too small and too fast for the focus to find them. The firefly was cooperative though.
