After roughly four years of service from my Nikon D80, I’ve finally upgraded to a new D7200. The specifications completely blow my previous body out of the water. I’ve mostly been messing around with it so far.
The D7200 is phenomenal in low light. I took it downtown and shot entirely without a flash. Where the D80’s ISO would become too grainy to be of any real use after about 800, but the newer model still looks solid well beyond 6400.
And that’s just scratching the surface of what this thing can do. Stay tuned for more. If you have anything you would want to see coming up, let me know in the comments below.
I finished editing my most recent wedding shoot. I wanted so badly to share some of these online, but I couldn’t until the entire shoot was finished editing all 32 gigs and got them sent off to bride and groom. I’ve got a some of the more artistic ones on here and a few more are up on my wedding site.
I guess I’m doing requests now. I snapped some photos on a walk that I didn’t really deem anything worth posting on here. But, I figured they were good enough for Facebook where they started getting some positive feedback though. So I compromised and tweaked the photos a bit to get them ready for prime time.
What do you guys think? Were these worth posting, or should they have languished in obscurity on my hard drive?
