I teamed up with my awesome and lovely friend, Emily, to shoot a portrait set down my the Cuyahoga Falls Riverfront. Since half the shoot was at night, I got experimental with the lighting. The shots by the fountain in particular used a combination of shutter dragging, one off camera flash for fill light, and a second remote flash with a spotlight modifier. The post processing was more elaborate than usual to, How did I do? Let me know in the comments below.
I’m a frequent customer of Off The Wagon, a local toy/novelty/comic shop. It’s a fantastic little store that exudes so much visual appeal that I asked my friend on the staff if I could just photograph around for a while. She gave me the okay, so I spent a good chunk of yesterday just
playing with trains and dragons shooting in the store. I made it a point not to make a nuisance of myself, so I shot around customers, and tried to touch the displays as little as possible. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity, and I cannot stress enough how absolutely amazing this place is. If you ever find yourself in downtown Kent, make stopping at Off The Wagon a priority.
