Why did I ever think that trying to start doing daily updates again this close to the end of the semester was a good idea? Oh well, shooting is helping me de-stress. See if you can spot what’s wrong with one of the photos.

Outrunning Winter 5

I completely forgot that I had photos from a a fall ride gathering dust on a memory card, seemingly lost forever to the light of day. That is until the next time I used the GoPro and I realized that half of my card was already occupied.

The people of Kent have been some of my most loyal followers, especially with local content. So, I’d like to use this as an opportunity to give back. I cannot overstate how supportive all of you have been, and how big a step this is for me. Nice days are numbered! Already, the sun and cloudless skies belie the dropping temperatures! I must bike and shoot until the paths freeze over.

Visiting Breakneck Acres

If you’re in the Kent area, you owe it to yourself to check out Breakneck Acres. It’s a small, local farm out on Summit Street, and they have some of the most fantastic food. I’ve done a video on them before, but the farm has greatly expanded since then. There are more chickens, different meats, and even some baked goods now. You really can’t beat them for buying local food.

School Is In

Fall Bike Ride

With the weather changing, I just had to get at least one more bike ride in before everything freezes over. And what better ride than one that takes me through all of my favorite trails I took as a kid? I started in Kent, then Stow, Silver Lake, then the familiar Hike and Bike Trail all the way back to Kent. I shot a full video with my GoPro, but that’s still in the works. In the mean time, I’ve got some of the nicer single stills from the ride.
