I was invited back to photograph the area spinning group again. This time, they managed to book this fantastic club out in Akron with plenty of open space, and what is essentially one giant, white backdrop taking up most of the room. Not as many LEDs on the hoops as last time, but the cleaner backgrounds made up for it.
I brought my camera to a friend’s art show at a local gallery more out of habit than actual thought I would need it. So, you can imagine my surprise when I discovered a skating ramp literally one room away. Not just a ramp, but an entire skating workshop/art creation man-cave. It’s a fantastic setup, one I’d like to explore to shoot again.
